Inspiring people are all around us. If you don’t know any personally (which is doutbful) you can find them all over the internet…blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
There are so many people out there following their dreams, and they inspire me everyday whether they know it or not. So here is my thank you to a few of the many, many people who unknowingly give me a little boost everyday…
Lara Casey is the Editor-in-Chief of an amazing wedding mag, Southern Weddings magazine, she started her own consulting firm called Lara Casey Reps, and is the founder of MTH2010, a conference dedicated to making dreamers doers. If that’s not inspiring , I don’t know what is!
Conn Jackson- A passion for producing feel-good TV led him to leave his financial job in NYC to start his own production company. Now, Conn is the host and creator of Get CONNected.
Tish Davis- A single mom and a total go-getter starts an bright-idea business, Elegant Event Sitters.
Christine & Katy- With a shared love for all things food, these lovely ladies started the Young & Hungry blog where food lovers can drool over their many, many recipes. Christine recently left her popular day job to purse her passion for cooking in culinary school.
Paula Deen– Most of you know exactly who she is and could pick up on her southern drawl from across the room, and while her Southern charm is appealing, it is her tenacity and courage through hard times that truly makes me adore Paula.
Bo Moon Johnson and Lindsay Cohen are moms who both realized it’s too dang hard to find out about products & services for your kids, so after some time, labor and love Mamaloot was born. Mamaloot is a website that offers Mama’s everywhere an awesome deal of the day. The product research is done for you and the site makes it super easy to purchase.
John Goscha, Jeff Avallon, and Morgen Newman are the kind of people that see a need and fill it. Problem… Solution. They invented IdeaPaint (which I love) in college when they found themselves unable to afford whiteboards for their brainstorming sessions.
Stefani Pollack is truly inspiring, and even if you don’t love the idea of pickled flavor cupcakes (created during her pregnancy : ) ), you should definitely read about how Stefani fell into The Cupcake Project and how her passion has kept her going ever since.
Amazed by the women around them, Shelley, Missy, & Alison started a website, How Does She?, that gathers inspirational women together to share ideas. This site is booming with answers to the ever-popular “How Does She __(fill in the blank)__” question.
Steven Carse is a friend of mine who surely screams passion! After losing his job at an insurance company Steven did not sulk (okay, maybe for a minute), instead he decided to pursue an idea he had after backpacking in Panama. His idea? To become the King of Pops , popsicles, that is. Steven is right on his way to reaching that dream.
